A day of locals roaming like tourists visiting places of interest in Singapore. With papa's ASA card on hand, the Libran part of me sprung out and I squeezed in as many places as I could to make full use of it.
1) Mint Museum of Toys
I've been wanting to visit for the longest time even before she was born but laziness always took over.
There's 4 main levels of collections:
Level 2: Collectables
Level 3: Childhood Favourites
Level 4: Characters
Level 5: Outerspace
With that much of variety, I'd say that my eyes were kept busy for quite a long time. Even the little one seemed interested when we're explaining the pieces to her and she was occupied throughout the exploration. Kid-friendly? Approve!
2) Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris (closed as of April 11, 2016)
To be honest, I've never heard about this museum until I saw it in the ASA list. Nothing much there to see though, so we walked around Fort Canning Park instead.
3) Singapore River Cruise
After 2 museums and a heritage walk, it's time to give our brains and legs a break, so we headed over to Clarke Quay Jetty and hopped on the River Cruise to enjoy a relaxing Singapore River Experience.
That marks the end of our local tour, WE LOVE SINGAPORE!

Too many animals, too little time for photos.
It started to drizzle after a short walk so we had to sit down for an early lunch first while praying for the rain to stop. She got all emotional and teary, and kept raving about her giraffe and elephant through lunch in fear and worry that she wouldn't get to see them.
A familiar sight much?
Mami was excited for her to meet and feed the farm animals in The Rainforest Kidzworld but she was STILL too timid, refusing even when i suggested to hold her hand and feed with her. She rejected my offer of the Pony Ride too. ):
No choice, we gave up and went over for some splashes in the Wet Play Area instead.
Ended the day with a tired but happy child!
