Hello, this is us.

I'm reluctant to position my blog as a parenting blog, even though 90% of the content will be about parenthood. Rather, it's more like a memory platform where I can relish positive emotions whenever I have hair-plucking moments causing me to have major melt-downs.

14.01.2013 was the day she came to me, when I was too tired after labour to even open my eyes to look at her. I just felt something warm and heavy on my chest when the nurse initiated first touch.

Motherhood is a long journey, and a tough one being the primary caregiver.

A good parent spends all the time with the child, putting their own hobbies and interest aside. However, a wise parent takes good care of self, teaches the child to do the same and leads the child along a healthy path, hand in hand.

It's no easy feat, but that is the kind of mother I want to be.
